Sport-Brella is both a beach umbrella and a beach tent. A beach umbrella, sun tent, rain shelter and more. On the sidelines or at the beach, the Sport-Brella gives you instant portable protection from the sun, rain, and wind with UPF 50+ quick shade protection. It sets up in just three seconds and fits the family or the whole team. Opens to 8′ wide for plenty of sun shade.
This handy sun shelter works great in any outdoor setting when protection from the sun is a must. Sport-Brella is a quick handy shade umbrella which works great as a beach tent or even upright in the beach umbrella position.
Secure your shady spot on the beach with this handy tethering kit $14.95. You can add these tethers to this umbrella at checkout.
My son is the ultimate tailgater/spectator. He loved this gift. He was walking around with it on x-mas day slung over his shoulder. He watched the video and went outside and set it up in no time.
Have owned for 3-1/2 years - needs replacement. Works great for sun protection and sturdy in wind with beach screw anchor (metal type), Do not store pole extension inside of main umbrella pole - it will rust inside and it is impossible to get out at the beach without tools. Plastic clips on wings pulled apart in wind (buy some small carabiners to use when they break and keep them in your beach bag). Ribs and hardware will rust and deteriorate pretty quickly - like I said, 3-1/2 years - needs replaced. For $60.00 I am satisfied with its performance - got a lot of use. Will buy another, just realize appox. lifespan.
Very easy to set up even in the high wind.
The collar holding the screw which tightens down on the inner shaft (a press fit?)migrated a bit to where the screw would now not go in. Took about 15 minutes to jerry-rig it to where it will, hopefully, work again. Of course, now I need to take a pair of pliers down to the beach to operate the partially stripped screw. This is a product that is pricy for an umbrella and was erected a grand total of three times before it went bad.
Used the Sport Brella at a windy beach and it held up well, however I had to used longer stakes to tie down the sides.
