Sit in the sun for a living

I'm a Corner Worker at a racetrack and I'm in the sun for up to 8 hours each shift. I bought this umbrella to attach to my directors style chair to provide shade. It works quite well, but, my major complaint is that the quality wouldn't stand up to heavy usage or a heavy gust of wind. If you are using it when you go to the beach once or twice a year it will be fine, however, if you're using it two to three times a month (up to 8 hours per day), it may not last long.

This is about the 8th of these I have purchased.

We use these at the local weekly car shows in Scottsdale Arizona. We have tested the temperature and it is about 15 degrees cooler under the umbrellas.

Best umbrella with a clamp anywhere.

Sadly, you won't find these umbrellas on Amazon where you'd be able to get them quicker. However, there is nothing of this quality like these umbrellas on Amazon. So, there is nowhere else you're gonna get these umbrellas because they are the best. Well made, the fastener is well thought out, and well constructed. You can spike it into the sand or ground or fasten it to your camping chair. I bought two of these 15 years ago and one finally wore through. I think that's outstanding value considering what Mother Nature and I have put them through. Common sense and experience will tell you that these are fine in light wind but no umbrella works in high winds. These are no exception. I searched high and low to find these again and I'm glad I did.
