Sunblocker Umbrella and Clamp

Bought the umbrella and heavy-duty clamp for my husband for Father's Day. He used it at a pickleball tournament and loved it- also received inquiries, particularly about the clamp. I expect it to work well at the beach too.
My reason for docking one star is the size of the clamp. It would be nice if it would work with larger diameter poles to make it more versatile.

Thank you for taking the time to review this clamp/umbrella combo. We've found that the 6' beach umbrella is the sweet spot between an umbrella that is not too large to affix to a chair while being large enough to qualify as a stand alone umbrella. We feel any umbrella larger than the 6 footer would topple the chair over too easily. Mark

Sit in the sun for a living

I'm a Corner Worker at a racetrack and I'm in the sun for up to 8 hours each shift. I bought this umbrella to attach to my directors style chair to provide shade. It works quite well, but, my major complaint is that the quality wouldn't stand up to heavy usage or a heavy gust of wind. If you are using it when you go to the beach once or twice a year it will be fine, however, if you're using it two to three times a month (up to 8 hours per day), it may not last long.
