Did fit standard pole

The metal reinforced hole at the top was slightly too small to go over the pole, so I had to cut it out and hope that the finial would protect the loose cloth edges. Also the canopy is slghtly too big, even after washing and drying in hopes of shrinking it, so it's going to fall of the spokes if I'm not careful. Maybe it would be fine as a replacement for a pole purchased at the same company, but it doesn't seem to be to standard.

Thanks for taking the time to submit your review. It's a good reminder to all to take the time to view our short on-page how-to-measure video prior to making a purchase. We are attempting to replace a canopy on a frame we didn't manufacture, so compatibility for the umbrella and grommet sizing cannot be assured without watching the video first... or give us a call. We love talking with customer per-order.

It's so nice to buy from someone other than Amazon. The canopy arrived quickly, is of high quality, and fits perfectly.

Best umbrellas

Best frames especially the aluminum ones. Canopies are the best on the market. Heavy canvas with strong stitching. Get the Protexture, it resists fading the best. It’s worth the extra $10

Cut to fit!

The canopy is very good quality. The size seemed a little off since I had to trim the wooden struts several times before I could get it to fit. However, once that was accomplished the end result is very pleasing.

Love the ambition! Sawing off an inch or two from each rib when a customer has a size outside our specs is a solution we recommend to customers everyday. A few minutes with a hand saw saves lots of $$$ over having to buy a new umbrella.

With a little MacGyver action it worked fine.

My fault for not measuring my umbrella frame correctly (make sure to read the instructions carefully). Thankfully the frame was wood, so I trimmed the ribs a couple inches and rounded the edges; and the replacement umbrella fit fine. The quality is good, although I would have a liked a larger vent top for a sleeker look when the umbrella is folded. Overall, I would recommend this product.
